A story is only the beginning.
If each photograph contains a distinct yet finite narrative, then one must explore a multitude of perspectives and evidence to bring a sense of history and empathy to a story. A complete photographic body of work doesn’t resolve all the questions that initially prompted its origin, but rather poses new questions as we probe deeper into our future and investigate our own lived experiences. Like most of my work, my projects are built on stories – each building block a unique voice, held together by the connecting principles of truth, empathy, and curiosity.
